In case anyone doesn't know, Dawn and David are BIG Georgia Tech fans and have season tickets to all the home games. Well, Georgia Tech played Mississippi State on Saturday (Georgia Tech 38/Mississippi State 7). Jim and I were able to spend the weekend at the Abercrombie's house with Sean. We had a great time with Sean and he was such a good boy all day.
We started off the morning with a healthy breakfast of a cereral bar, apple and banana. That boy has a good appitite and he doesn't miss anything. At one point Jimmy picked up part of his cereral bar and took a bite. Sean just looked at him and said, "What did you eat, Grandpa?" and when Jimmy told him it was his cereal bar that he left on the table, he said, "I did not share that with you, spit it out!" We all got a big laugh from that. You would not believe he is only two and a half if you hear him talk. He sounds like he is four.
We played around the house for a couple hours before we took Sean to Monkey Joe's. He spent most of the time either with Grandpa or looking for Grandpa. Grandpa was his buddy. Most of his interaction with Grandma had to do with diapers, eating, or bathing.
This is Sean with Grandpa.
This is Sean looking for Grandpa.
Sean eating with Grandma. We stopped at Chik-Fil-A and Sean ate his 6 piece chicken nuggets, all his fruit, and half of Grandpa's chicken sandwich, as well as all his Sprite. He especially loved the Sprite, which is apparently a treat given only by grandparents.
....and this is Sean on the ride home from Monkey Joe's and Chic-Fil-A.
After (our) nap Sean still had time to play a little golf.....
and slide on his sliding board in the backyard.
All three of us (Jim, me, and Sean) had a great day and Dawn and David also came home happy with the big win of Georgia Tech over Mississippi State.
